Located on a corner lot in Kenilworth, this single family residence addition required demolition of a detached garage and reconfiguration of the driveway in order to accommodate a new three car garage with laundry and powder rooms.

Interior renovation work included adding a new fireplace to the existing family room on the first floor and bedrooms with a full bath in the new story above. On the opposite end of the house a new library with fireplace was added. Extensive custom millwork cabinets and shelving contrast with the darker hardwood floors giving the room a rich yet subtle appearance.

The new brick and stone patios were carefully planned to integrate existing and new construction and to optimize the exterior space immediately surrounding the home. The tan brick and limestone capping were selected for the patio walls in order to blend with the existing masonry thereby creating the effect of cascading forms gracefully extending out from the primary structure.
